In early 2007, THE KAPATID PROGRAM was officially launched as an integral component of the advocacy campaigns initiated and presently being implemented by Gerry Geronimo Productions, Inc. (GGPI) through its Ating Alamin and Mommy Academy programs. |
Recognizing the need to introduce God-centered values within the Filipino household to promote positive attitudes and behavior, KAPATID is committed to its 3-FOLD MISSION:
1. VALUES

2. HEALTH
Health is a state of complete mental, physical, and social well-being, not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.
• Weekly Free Clinics and Medicine for Children
• 6-Month Feeding Program for Registered Children
3. LIVELIHOOD
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.

Today, mothers from improverished families in Brgy. Antonio, Sucat, Parañaque attend Bible Studies at our first kapatid Center. These women are empowering themselves with God-centered values, and are starting to believe that they can make themselves worth contributors to their communities.
Malnourished children from ages 1 to 10 year registered by the local Barangay Health Office for a 6-month feeding program. Their mothers are taught how to pre affordable but nutritious meals, and the children are assessed on a monthly basis to ensure their progress back to health.
Preparations are ongoing for regular livelihood training workshops that will help Kapatid members get back on their feet and improve their ways of living.
